These wonderful shapes in wood ,
after being given a little finish, may resemble ANIMAL figures in various postures, or the totems and icons
of tribal people living in forests.

Sometimes the shapes are very complicated and may be seen as a visual representation of our inner complex states of being; or the ungraspable knots of feelings and emotions which lie embedded in the deep reaches of the human psyche.
